Originating in the city of Genoa in the northern region of Italy, Genoa Salami is cured, fermented and air-dried. Made with select cuts of pork that have never been administered antibiotics, Fiorucci Genoa is blended with imported Italian spices and marinated in red wine for an aromatic mildness that adds pleasant, zesty flavor to any application.
With subtle tanginess from the fermenting process, our 100% Natural Genoa Salami is full of flavor with no added nitrates or nitrites, and is ready to eat in sandwiches, antipasto platters, pizzas, salads, frittatas and more.
Genoa has rosy hues with fine specks of white fat appearing throughout. It’s seasoned with Italian spices that exhibit a mild flavor, and it has a firm, dry texture and delicate peppery aroma with notes of garlic.
